Sushi Penguin made its direct debut on May 9, 2026, appearing on the promotional poster for the game's Admin Abuse event—an event that had actually been teased as early as February 7, 2026. Modeled after the Emperor Penguin, Sushi Penguin incorporates elements of Japan's renowned delicacy: sushi. Its body serves as the sushi rice, topped with a thick, succulent slice of salmon on its back and wrapped in a sheet of nori seaweed. The head retains the penguin's signature black plumage and yellow beak. The round, plump form of the sushi perfectly complements the image of a baby penguin, giving it an endearingly cute and charming appearance.
Neon Form
Once players have collected and fully raised four mature Sushi Penguins, they can visit the Neon Cave to fuse them together, creating a glowing Neon Sushi Penguin. On this version, the salmon on its back emits a soft pink glow, while the penguin's cheeks, feet, and the leaf atop its head also light up. Players with the resources to do so can continue to gather four Neon Sushi Penguins and raise them to their maximum level to fuse them into a Mega Neon Sushi Penguin. This ultimate form features a constantly shifting, rainbow-colored glow—resembling a piece of sushi with ingredients that are perpetually changing.
How to Get
In addition to a rare 0.1% drop chance when hatching an Admin Abuse Egg, Sushi Penguin can also be obtained as a level-up reward. During the April 2026 Birthday Update, Adopt Me! introduced a brand-new reward system: players now receive a Birthday Gift whenever they level up any of their pets. Previously, the Legendary pet Purrowl served as the highest-tier reward; however, Sushi Penguin has now been added to the lineup, taking its place as the ultimate top-tier reward.
