Kangaroo For Sale
Kangaroo was a limited-time legendary pet derived from a pet egg. Its limited availability was due to the Aussie Egg being available in the gacha machine for over seven months before being replaced by fossil eggs. Therefore, players who acquired the Aussie Egg after that period could no longer obtain Kangaroo. Kangaroo has a classic kangaroo design; its simple name suggests a straightforward appearance. Its outer fur is brown, while its belly is light beige. It has a large pouch, short arms, and a long body, similar to real-world kangaroos. Its ears stand erect, and it has round black eyes and a small nose, giving it a gentle and adorable appearance. During the Aussie Egg's release period, players could purchase one for 750 bucks, with a 1.5% chance of hatching a Kangaroo. Normally, the chance of hatching a Legendary Pokémon from a Pokémon egg is 3%, but the Aussie Egg contains two Legendary pets, effectively splitting the chance in half.
Neon Form

Once players collect four Kangaroos and raise them to adulthood, they can go to the Neon Cave to fuse them into a Neon Kangaroo. Its ears, nose, feet, and tail will emit a yellow glow, making its otherwise ordinary appearance unique. Players with the resources can collect four more Neon Kangaroos, raise them to the highest level, and then return to the Neon Cave to fuse them into a Mega Neon Kangaroo. Its glow color will cycle through four colors—white, light pink, dark pink, and light blue—increasing its visual appeal.
Aussie Egg
The Aussie Egg was a new Pokémon egg released on February 29, 2020, replacing the previous Farm Egg. Its appearance is based on the classic Australian pet kangaroo, complete with kangaroo ears, half brown and the front light-colored. Interestingly, it also features a small pouch containing a small egg, making it quite a realistic depiction. To obtain it at launch, players can visit the gashapon machine in the nursery and pay 750 bucks. However, the Aussie Egg is now unavailable and can only be acquired through trading.
Kangaroo - FAQ (Adopt Me Pets)
What were the exact odds of getting a Kangaroo from an Aussie Egg?
Players had a 3% chance to hatch a Legendary pet from an Aussie Egg. Since there were two Legendary pets (Kangaroo and Turtle), the effective chance of getting a Kangaroo was approximately 1.5% per egg.
Why is Kangaroo considered valuable today?
The kangaroo is valuable because it has been removed from the game (and is no longer obtainable), there is stable trading demand, and it was popular among players as an old-school pet. Limited supply and stable demand make its value relatively high.
How many Kangaroos are needed to make a Neon or Mega Neon?
Neon Kangaroo = 4 Full Grown Kangaroos
Mega Neon Kangaroo = 16 Full Grown Kangaroos (4 Neon Kangaroos)
This makes Mega Neon versions significantly rarer and more valuable.
Does adding Fly or Ride potions increase Kangaroo’s value?
Yes, adding Ride Potion and Fly Potion can increase the pet’s value slightly. A Fly Ride (FR) Kangaroo is generally easier to trade than a normal one.
Is Neon Kangaroo worth making or better to trade separately?
It depends on your goal: Make Neon if you want higher-tier trades and visual appeal Trade separately if you want flexibility and faster trades. Neon Kangaroo usually has higher combined value than 4 normal ones.
Will Kangaroo ever come back to the game?
No, Adopt Me rarely re-releases pets from retired eggs. While similar themed pets may appear in future updates, the original Kangaroo is expected to remain exclusive.
